1. International Youth Day is on 12th August.
International Youth Day (IYD) is observed globally on 12th august every year. This day is celebrated as too recognize the efforts put in by the youth for the betterment of society and to promote the ways to engage the youth and make them more actively involved in their communities through positive contributions.
The theme of International Youth Day 2020, "Youth Engagement for Global Action". This year's theme highlights the ways in which the engagement of young people at local, national, and global levels in enriching national and multilateral institutions and processes, as well as draw lessons on how their representation and engagement informal institutional politics can be significantly enhanced.
This day is first observed on August 12, 2000, to give a set of cultural and legal issues surrounding youth.
2. Mumbai has become the 1st city in India to have female icons on traffic signals.
This is very honorable for all the Indian females. In Mumbai's Dadar has become the first city in Inda to have women symbols on traffic signals and signage. The Brihanmumbai Municipal corporation (BMC) has installed traffic signals that display female icons sporting triangular frock, instead of default representation of men.

3. Paytm launch India's 1st pocket android POS device.
Paytm India has launched India's 1st Pocket Android POS (Point of Sale) Device named "Paytm All-in-One Portable Android Smart POS' for contactless ordering and Payments in India. This is such an Android-based device to be introduced in India and is much more powerful than the portable Linux based POS devices presently available in the country. It is a small initiative to digitize and empower a large number of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The company aims to issue over two lakh devices which will generate over 20 million transactions per month.

4. Gujrat government has announced Mukhya Mantri Kisan Sahay Yojana.
The Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rapani has been announced Mukhya Mantri Kisan Sahay Yojana. for the current Kharif season and all farmers os, the state will be covered under this scheme. Farmers would not have to pay any premium or registration process for the scheme.
This Yojana will replace the existing crop insurance scheme.

5. 'Krishi Megh' a cloud infrastructure launched by Union Minister of Agriculture & Farmers.
Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers has been launched Krishi Megh (National Agricultural Research & Education System cloud Infrastructure and Services) virtually by the Union Minister of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Shri Narendra Singh Tomar. He is also launched the KVC ALUNET (Krishi Vishwavidyalaya Chhatr Alumni network) and Online Accreditation System for Higher Agricultural Educational Institutions (HEI).
Krishi Megh will help the farmers in meeting the services and infrastructure requirements of the digital Agriculture of National Agricultural Research and Education System (NARES).
6. ACJ Journalism Award 2019 declared the winners.
Journalists Nitin Sethi and shiv Sahay Singh were declared as the winners of the Asian College of Journalism's (ACJ) Award 2019 for Investigative Journalism and the K.P Narayana Kumar Memorial Award for Social Impact Journalism, respectively. These awards were presented in a virtual ceremony by Soumya Swaminathan, Chief Scientist of the World Health Organisation (WHO).

7. Union Home Minister's Medal in Investigation, 2020.
A total of 121 Pollice Personnel have been awarded the 'Union Home Minister's Medal for Excellence in Investigation" for the year 2020. This award is to encourage high professional standards of investigation of crime and to recognize such Excellence in Investigation by investigation officers.
8. PM launches a platform for "Transparent Taxation Honoring them Honest".
PM Modi has launched a platform for "Transparent Taxation- Honoring them Honest". The new platform will carry forward the journey of direct tax reforms and will also reward the honest taxpayers.

9. Harsh Kumar Bhanwala becomes the new executive chairman of Capital India Finance.
NABARD Chief, Harsh Kumar Bhanwala has been appointed as Executive Chairman of Capital India Finance Limited. He was chairman of NABARD for six years.
Capital India Finance Limited (CIFL) is an integrated financial services platform and provides customized financial solutions to Indian Corporates for their growth and working capital requirements among others.

10. Chattisgarh launch the "Indira Van Mitan" Yojana.
The Chhattisgarh Government has launched the "Indira Van Mitan" Yojana to make the forest dwellers of the state self-reliant. By this scheme, the government will form groups of youth in 10,000 villages of tribal areas of the state and they will be responsible to conduct all forest-based economic activities.

11. Russia becomes 1st country to register the COVID-19 vaccine.
Russian President, Vladimir Putin has announced that a COVID-19 vaccine named " Sputnik V" developed in the country has been registered for use. Russian Ministry of Health has given regulatory approval for what it claims is the world's first Covid-19 vaccine, which is developed by the Moscow's Gamaleya Institute.
