1. Puducherry celebrates its 59th 'De-Jure' day.


The Union Territory of Puducherry has celebrated their 59th anniversary of the "De-Jure" day on 16th August. The Puducherry Government administration has organized a function at the keezhoor memorial where the referendum was signed to mark the occasion. So on this day, the "De-Jure" (The Legal Merger of the UT with the Indian Union) was effected.

2. "YellowChain" centralized e-commerce platform launch by the Nagaland govt.

Honorable Chief Minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio has been launched "Yellow Chain" a centralized e-commerce system to provide the people of the state integrated platform to build sustainable businesses either in products or services from their own locations for sustainable economic activity.
This 'Yellow Chain" will act as an integrated for the people of the state, where any seller/Service Provider/individual/Group can register themselves and upload their products, and trade and skills, etc.

3. Ministry of AYUSH launches campaign "Ayush for immunity".

A new campaign named "Ayush for  Immunity" has been launched by the Ministry fo AYUSH. The aim of this campaign is to aware people of the valuable information about the strengths of various Ayush-based solutions for enhancing immunity and preventing diseases.

4. Minister of Youth & Sports Kiren Rijiju launches initiative "Fit India Youth Clubs".

An initiative "Fit India Youth Club" has been launched by the Union Minister of Youth and Sports, Kiren Rijiju. Fit India Youth Club is a nation-wide initiative that has been launched to promote fitness among every citizen. The program organizes to utilize the power of youth to create mass awareness about the relevance of fitness, across the nation.

5. HDFC Bank has launched "Shaurya KGC Card" for armed forces.

HDFC Bank has launched "Shaurya KGC Card" for Indian armed force personnel. The card will offer agriculture loans for military and paramilitary professionals. A first-of-its-kind product for over 45 Lakh Indian armed forces personnel.

6. PNB launches the 'Digital Apnayen' campaign to promote its digital banking facilities.

Punjab National Bank has launched a new campaign named "DIGITAL APNAYEN" by the bank's Managing Director S S Mallikarjuna Rao to encourage customers to use digital banking channels.
This campaign has launched on the occasion of Independence Day and it is still March 2021 to use digital channels and participate in the noble cause of donating to the PM CARES Fund for COVID-19.

7. Suresh Raina announces retirement from International Cricket.

Indian cricketer Suresh Raina has announced his retirement from International Cricket. He represented India in 226 ODIs, 78 T20Is, and 18 Test in his cricketing career. He amassed 7,787 runs across all the formats in international cricket. He also claimed 167 catches in his international career.
He is the 1st Indian batsman who has scored a century in all three formats of the game. He was also part of the Indian team that won the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup and the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy.

8. World Cup(2011) Winning Indian Captain MS Dhoni retires from International Cricket.

Indian Captain and the Wold Cup Winner, Mahendra Singh Dhoni has announced his retirement from International Cricket. He was the only captain to win all three major International Cricket Council (ICC) trophies i.e. the World Cup, the World Twenty20, and the Champions Trophy.
It is very sad news for all cricket lovers.
