2. U.S. Senate designates Sethuraman Panchanathan as head of NFS.
The U.S. Senate has designated Indian-American Researcher Dr. Sethuraman Panchanathan as the Director of the National Science Foundation (NFS). He will replace France Cordova. He is expected to take office on July 6.
- National Science Foundation (NFS) is an independent federal agency created by Congress in 1950.
3. 21st June: World Music Day.
World Music Day has been observed globally on 21st June every year to honor amateur and professional musicians. This day is celebrated by organizing free public concerts in parks, streets, stations, museums, and other such public places. The aim of this day to provide free music to all.
This day was founded by France's Minister of Culture, Jack Lang and also Maurice Fleuret, on the day of the summer solstice in Paris in 1982.
4. World Bank approves $ 1.05 billion to Bangladesh.
The World Bank has approved $1.05 billion to Bangladesh for three projects.
The three Projects are namely:
- Private Investment and Digital Entrepreneurship (PRIDE).
- Enhancing Digital Government and Economy (EDGE).
- Second Programmatic Jobs Development Policy Credit.
are expected to help the economy in its recovery by generating jobs and encouraging direct private investment in specialized economic zones.

5. Indi's next Ambassador to Zimbabwe: Vijay Khanduja.
Vijay Khanduja has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Zimbabwe. He is presently serving as the Director in the Ministry of External Affairs(MEA).
He will replace R.Masakui as the next Ambassador of India to Romania.

6. NITI Aayog develops a job platform for Migrant laborers.
Niti Aayog has developed a job platform for the migrant laborers. Through this panel, Niti Aayog includes top officials of tech companies like Google, Microsoft, and Tech Mahindra. The main aim is to develop a platform that can help blue-collar workers find job opportunities in their own language and location.

7. Exim Bank extends Line of Credit (LOC) of $ 20.10 million to the government of Nicaragua.
Export-Import Bank of India (Exim Bank) has extended Line of Credit (LOC) of $ 20.10 million on the behalf of the Government of India, to the Government of the Republic of Nicaragua. This LOC has been extended for the reconstruction of Aldo Chavarria Hospital in the Republic of Nicaragua.

8. 'Decarbonising Transport in India' project will launch by NITI Aayog.
NITI Aayog will launch the "Decarbonising Transport in India' project in collaboration with International Transport Forum (ITF) to develop a pathway towards a low-carbon transport system for India.
- International Transport Forum is an intergovernmental organization for transport policy, since 2008.

9. World Hydrography Day: 21st June.
World Hydrography Day is observed globally on 21st June every year. This day was adopted by the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) as an annual celebration to publicize the work of hydrographers and the importance of hydrography.

10. Padma Shri Vidyaben Shah was passed away.
She was a Padma Shri awardee and a social worker. She was a pioneer in the field of child welfare as she created the first Bal Bhavan in Rajkot in the 1940s.
